I would like to wish you a warm and personal welcome to the Viceroy. My name is Sajjid Hussian, your host and the manager of the Viceroy of Duffield - Indian Restaurant Derby.
It is my honour to manage the Viceroy, a place reputed by our customers for mesmerizing choices of Indian flavours and enjoyable times.
As a young boy I grew up in a family who owned a very successful hospitality business. I had a deep passion from a young age, to engage into the world of managing successful restaurants. This was the start of my journey.
I entered higher education in home town derby where I qualified in restaurant management and furthered my education by completing a MBA in business management. During the same period I supported my father's hospitality business. During this period I had my own desire for innovating something different.
At the beginning of 2000 with the help of my younger brother Rashid Hussain, the Viceroy was established and officially opened for business in the beautiful town of Duffield.
We have worked very hard to build up a highly reputable restaurant renowned for high quality authentic Indian cuisine, coupled with high standards of service.
We preserve a traditional style mixed with modern luxurious decor. We have a private lounge, seating up to 120 guests, CCTV cameras, private car park, air conditioning and access for disabled guests.
I are entirely dedicated to please your satisfaction, taking special care and attention to ensure your dining experience is warm, welcoming and reflects our Indian way of dining.
